Personalize your watch face to match your style and preferences
Customization Methods
To customize a watch face, there are two available methods:
1 Companion App Method
Use your smartwatch's companion application such as:
- Samsung Wearable (for Galaxy Watch series)
- Pixel Watch app (for Pixel Watch series)
- Other manufacturer companion apps
2 Direct Watch Customization
Customize it directly on your smarthwatch.
Important Information
Unfortunately, these are the only available methods for customizing complex watch faces that support customizable complications and styles.
Settings Limitation
When you switch to a different watch face, previous customization settings will not be saved. The watch face will always load with default settings, and you’ll need to reapply them manually. This is a current Wear OS limitation. We’re working closely with Google to improve the customization process in the future. Please note: this is an alpha version of this new technology.
